5. Gieves & Hawkes

There are various Savile Line tailors on our rundown. We've picked Gieves and Hawkes on the grounds that they are both an imperative spearheading tailor and an essential worldwide brand. The house was established toward the start of the eighteenth Century, and picked up its first Imperial Warrant toward the start of the nineteenth. They've made garments for everybody from George III to Michael Jackson. Visit their central station at 1 Savile Column and you'll see Jackson's military-impacted regalia alongside the military outfits that motivated them. Hawkes was one of the primary English tailors to offer prepared to-wear (which was then called "Quick Wear"), and today it's the heft of the brand's business.
